Okay, lemme start over. I had a moment a few days ago where I needed to clean the kitchen because my pasta spattered and I was pretty glad that I’d been forced to do that living with Leanne and Dad. So that’s pretty much my whole post. I’m tired. Girls, I know chores and stuff are irritating now, but you’ll be glad you know how when you “grow up”.

I hope you are feeling better. I wish I could rub your back or bring you some tea and toast. I am delighted that the skills you were not thrilled to be learning have had a benefit. I am especially glad that you’ve encouraged your sisters to embrace the chores for their long term benefit as well.
Ayala, for a new mom, just know that it is a 18+ year investment for that reward. But it sure does feel good when it comes.
